About the event
Join us for OPF’s evening Live Edu-Tainment, a whole-group experience for youth, families, artists, educators, partners and community members.
This 4:00 - 7:00/8:00pm gathering is being intentionally repositioned away from a traditional performance showcase. Instead, we’re slowing things down to explore the intellect, creativity, culture, healing, discipline and lived experience behind the art and the artist.
Music, movement, storytelling, First Nations learning, global community transformation and real-life education will come together in one shared space. Artists and educators may demonstrate or share their art forms if they feel inspired, but performance is not the focus. The focus is conversation, learning, reflection and understanding what lives behind the creative work we often only see on stage.
