FOR IT IS WRITTEN

"Just as we have many parts in ONE body — and all the parts do not have the same function — so we, who are many, are ONE in Christ and everyone parts of one another. We have gifts that differ according to the grace that was given to us.” - Romans 12:4-6

- WRITING ON THE WALL -

Join us in acknowledging that the nation we know as Canada was and is traditionally home to First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people. We are grateful to be orchestrated by the Most High to live, play, learn, and serve with them, on this land, in this time --- for a higher calling and greater purpose.

Our acknowledgement represents our recognition of this region's longer history, one predating the settlement of the earliest European immigrants. The churches in our country are many. Our direct call-to-action is for churches, institutions, organizations, local businesses and community members to take time this year, to engage in truth and reconcili-action to foster peace and unity for us all; as ONE united race of people.

We are hue(mans); regardless of our gender, racial, cultural and alternative identities. While Equity, Inclusion and Diversity policies and procedures are essential, real change stems from the heart. We're invite you to observe the bodies of water on our planet -- they collectively reject and transcend imaginary lines of division, labels, and identity they've been assigned and gather into ONE ocean.

Similarly, we look forward to pacing towards labels of identity that unify us as humans while honouring and celebrating our similarities and differences to abolish systematic injustice and close equity gaps together as ONE people, sharing ONE planet.
