This frosted glass mug is designed to turn everyday moments into intentional pauses. Rooted in the spirit of Journey · Justice · Joy, it reflects the Quinte Cultural Innovation Committee’s belief that community is built through shared rituals, care, and conversation.

The soft matte finish diffuses light and gives the artwork a calm, painterly quality, while the full wraparound print ensures the design remains visible from every angle. Warm tones glow subtly through the frosted glass, echoing themes of sisterhood, dignity, and collective care that sit at the heart of Our Peace Festival and QCIC’s work in equity, education, and repairative community building.

Lightweight yet solid, the mug feels cool in the hand and well-suited to slow mornings, reflective evenings, and gatherings where dialogue and connection matter. Whether used in a home kitchen, shared living space, classroom café, or community event, it offers a simple reminder that justice and joy are often nurtured in small, shared moments.

FOR IT IS WRITTEN

"Just as we have many parts in ONE body — and all the parts do not have the same function — so we, who are many, are ONE in Christ and everyone parts of one another. We have gifts that differ according to the grace that was given to us.” - Romans 12:4-6

- WRITING ON THE WALL -

Join us in acknowledging that the nation we know as Canada was and is traditionally home to First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people. We are grateful to be orchestrated by the Most High to live, play, learn, and serve with them, on this land, in this time --- for a higher calling and greater purpose.

Our acknowledgement represents our recognition of this region's longer history, one predating the settlement of the earliest European immigrants. The churches in our country are many. Our direct call-to-action is for churches, institutions, organizations, local businesses and community members to take time this year, to engage in truth and reconcili-action to foster peace and unity for us all; as ONE united race of people.

We are hue(mans); regardless of our gender, racial, cultural and alternative identities. While Equity, Inclusion and Diversity policies and procedures are essential, real change stems from the heart. We're invite you to observe the bodies of water on our planet -- they collectively reject and transcend imaginary lines of division, labels, and identity they've been assigned and gather into ONE ocean.

Similarly, we look forward to pacing towards labels of identity that unify us as humans while honouring and celebrating our similarities and differences to abolish systematic injustice and close equity gaps together as ONE people, sharing ONE planet.
